Stallion Unknown 2014

Stallion is an early, figgy, excellent tasting improved Celeste with a "wallop" as Frank (FMD) describes it. Even with heavy rains the past two days only one of many split. These figs were able to dead ripen and crack just a little bit to let me know that they were ready. It has gotten better with time [1][2].

Is there anyone growing this who can speak to cold-hardiness?

Looks like a great fig!

next year and mine will be ready....I know, patience.

Man, that looks great. Got to add it to my wish list.....look like it's an impossible task
to down size my collection. Only option is to stay away from F4F & that's no fun.

The photography on this, and all of JD's posts today, Is fantastic!

JD, man, I love it when you post pictures of your figs! The only figs I'm picking are Florea. The birds are beating me to my Hardy Chicago this year. Emerald grapes are ripening too.
