Starting early

Visualize this as you manage your cuttings.  These were kept in damp sphagnum in a 52 oz plastic gas station drink cup with a few holes in the bottom and the lid resting over the top.  A little water was sprinkled as needed.  The singleton already has sprouts from the middle and roots from the top, middle and bottom.  Thanks to the team of people who conspired to get these to me, who will be named if they desire  :)  I also had another cutting gone wild with roots that had so much sphagnum stuck to them I thought they might break so I potted that one up too fast to take photos.  that rested on spagnum but was covered with gritty mix plus a sprinkling of worm castings.  That one's from another generous member.  Those started 4-5 weeks ago.  I still have 2 cooking but those are only 1 week old.

They look beautiful!  You must be very proud!  I've got some in sphagnum with roots circling in the bottom cup, and the cutting in the air showing roots too!  This is a fun hobby and a rewarding collection for sure!
