Wow approaching 2,000 threads 550 members and 18,000 posts.

Thanks Jon for making this all possible with a wealth of info and some great people to share it with. I believe you have not only met but have exceeded your mission statement

We believe this is the largest database of information about figs (Ficus carica) that is available on the internet.

Our goal is to make that information available in an accessible format, to continue to add to the database, and to facilitate the exchange of information though the Figs 4 Fun Forum.

The important thing is sharing - pictures, information, cuttings, experience - which we all have and which can help someone else enjoy their figs more. We owe a lot to many people who have shared all of those things with us.

Although i was into figs years before this forum Jon has opened my eyes to more dark types of figs than i knew and probably has made a lot of wifes scratch there head wondering what the heck happened to there husband all of a sudden and there plants. Im sure it was Jon that inspired some to create a page on the net displaying there fig plants and names.

Thanks to Jon i never typed so much still cant "speel" worth a darn.
The statistics are impressive as one can clearly see how they keep growing and with that brings more members showing different types of figs from parts of the world that were not known to many until recently such as Jon , Bass , Maggie , Sue, George, Nelson just to name a few as its a long list. Im sure there are more types out there soon to come to the forfront.
So trying to keep it short i just say thanks Jon for everything and keep posting those wonderful pictures for us to enjoy .
