Not another fig name confusion? !

I really don't understand this post whatsoever.  Does " Tony" have the right site?   I think he may be thinking he is somewhere else and is searching for Stephanie?     Ciao

Yeah, I'm about 15 (16 really). I'm not confused, this is just a rarely used site, and i have a wii. with a wii you're lucky if your wii-mail gets to the other wii in twenty minutes. so, i figured i would create an account here for instant communication

When I first got my computer I learned that kids hunted the quiet sites to do their forbidden chat.  Not too many parents get upset when they see a kid has been to a gardening site. 

Go find a "personals" site or get yourself some figs.

So in other words, does this mean that kids could do their secret communications using this site?   Its horrible that they can do that.  I remember the days when our parents let us use the phone for twenty minutes to talk to our friends. When it was time up, it was time up.  We were so much more busy then.   I personally was scared to keep secrets from them, especially my father, he always knew just by looking at me anything I was thinking. God forbid there may have been a boy involved,  he had to know everything about him, who his family was, what he did for a job, even then the boys had to be making money of some kind. never much room for secrets.  Is jon able to remove this so we can keep it for just figs?  Ciao

Tony, Store bought figs usually are gross.  That's why we put so much effort into growing our own.  Ripe figs are the best.

Well at least you tried a fig, maybe you were getting somewhere after all with this site.  You could always try and grow a fig variety that you may like,  there is only one store I know of who has figs that are easier to buy quicker than an online nursery, Its Lowe's.  All I saw was Black Mission there however, but they are tasty.  Maybe you may want to grow one and try one right off of the tree, They are delicious as fignut has said when they are fresh.  Did you buy " a " fig fresh or dried somewhere?  It is very rewarding to grow and eat your own food,  and figs can be a very fulfilling and addictive hobby.  You may enjoy it.  It would be great for young adults  your age to get back to the basics and have something to do with your hands.  Would you like to try it?   You'd have alot of fun.  Ciao
