I just wanted to pop in and see how every one was doing. as many of you may know i am a cna, the nursing home i work at just got a 5 star rating and is listed as one of the best in the midwest. i also have been busy getting the ball rolling on getting into the nursing program. been busy with that and some other issues, but am still here and longing for that first ripe fig of the year.
Best wishes to you :)
One of the great things about growing fruit and berries is it forces us to become more patient. The world today is so built around instant gratification, but our babies in the yard just don't play by those rules ;-) The patience you gaining waiting you that first bit of a perfectly ripe fig is will serve you well in all areas of life.
Hi,Greetings . Well, I'm waiting for those trees to break bud ;) .That's where patience starts !Will you have more fruiting trees this year ? I will, and that alone makes me lose patience already ! Especially the new fruiting varieties .
Glad to hear from you Dave.
Mine are breaking buds but I am overanxious for "breaking" figs! Good luck and good growing. Good to hear from you and enjoying seeing your posts.
Nice to hear from you again. We all need a hiatus now and then. Life has a way of distracting us. Good luck with your nursing career and enjoy your figs when they ripen.Suzi
