I still don't understand how this video would promote buying a fig tree from them. I tried to watch the whole thing it kept getting worse.

i think they are growing more than figs.. like things they can smoke.. and they are eating into their profit by actually using the product themselves :)

Their videos detract me from ever buying anything from them.

Yes, they have some other clips where one can think that those boy's dream was to do porno-films, but they got stock with their dad's nursery and they just stick as close as they can to their vocation.

You have to eat their magical mystery figs to understand.

I don't think they are trying to sell fig trees. It looks to me like a first year film student piece that's not very good. Looks like they had access to some figs and very few ideas. I will admit I did not watch the entire 8+ minutes as the 4 I lost watching what I did were painful enough.

Just google TyTy and complaints and the web history explains all, bad apple causing frustration for honest growers and nurserymen

Quite disturbing. Indeed they are consuming more than figs to put together such a bizzare video like this. 

Yeah that last one I think promoting a nero that it looked like the peed on was enough for me to not waste anymore time watching their vids. And to thing some of the mindless masses thing ty ty are adverting geniuses.

@Michael why are you making first year film students look so bad!? :D My old film professor at UVA would be utterly appalled and quick to fail anyone that turned that in.

This is most likely not done by a film student, but by someone who just learned how to push the "on" button on a random camera laying around. And who was heavy on the substance abuse.

I tuned off after two minutes. These are knuckleheads looking for attention and we are giving it to them.
Who's to say they are not here reading and getting off on it?

Want to hear something funny?   When I read the title of the thread...before even reading any of the posts, I thought  to myself  "...looks like something Ty Ty would do." 

Their attempt to rip me off several years ago is documented on the Garden Web.   It took me nearly a year and several letters to the Georgia Better Business Bureau, and then to the state attorney general's office to get my money back from those shysters.

"Knuckleheads" is an understatement.

C'mon guys, haven't we all poured water on figs and then smashed the mirror with a hammer and then drove over everything with a truck to satisfy the voices? ; )

Sorry to hear about the trouble you went through.

Years ago when I first started growing figs and didn't know about the two forums I was going through the web searching for online sources.

I came up to TyTy and looked through their website. I have to admit I was very Very impressed with thier selection but the pictures they had (bikini girls, shirtless boys, etc etc ) were a little strange.

I gave them a call. This guy answered the phone but he sounded like he was munching on something. Wasn't giving me too much info as he sounded like he was distracted or sounded like he was doing something else.

Long story short, I chose to stay away. Something just didn't sound right.
Low and behold I fine a couple forums and with some topics about them from the get go.

Just looking at the picture was enough for me to not click on the start cue. I'd rather clean the litter box in that time.

Well, you just may have a point that this vid is below what most film students would do. I somehow missed it was from TyTy. I don't understand where those folks are coming from at all unless they believe fig collectors are into really sleazy adverts. 

I do not know what else those people grow in between fig trees but they seem to be highly affected by it. It might even be contagious and hallucinating, so I would stay away from them. LOL

I almost bought my first fig tree from them until i cam across some unhappy post on gardenweb one day and several others on a quick yahoo + google search. i went with Willis orchard insted. they sent me the wrong tree but two years later made it right with out me asking them too. i contacted the guy for an ID of the fig, sent a few pics, he replied within 2 hours stating that it indeed was not the brown turkey i had bought and another one was being sent while iding the first as a petes honey. well long story short the ended up sending me two brown turkey tees in a single shipment to try and make it right meanwhile i still have the petes honey. Willis great service, TY TY no way in hell from what i have heard.

@ Centurion. Good for you for following all the way through with it. Many of us may have gotten frustrated enough to just give up and write off our losses. Glad to hear you got your money back in the end.  Shysters indeed.

I apologize on behalf of the state of Georgia for TY Ty and Arron's and all their other alias names. They are an embarrassment. 

Biblically speaking, and to Bible scholars,
Israel has always been refered to as the fig nation.
Knowing that, and watching the video,
It looks like a " I hate the Jews" propaganda video.
Perhaps they've gone over to the darkside!?! (KKK?)

we should all compile the places we have bout fig trees and discuss the results weather good or bad. i know i am a new member myself but kind of like a buyer bewear for the new folks comming in. i have read some say they didnt own a fig tree, and i know when you get into figs its exciting and thrilling. unfortunatly alot of these people may get burned.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were smoking something like crack or meth, complete nut jobs these guys are.
