Hey Tom,

Congratulations on getting the cuttings I sent to root! I'm still having a hard time with your BT as my house is kinda cold in the winter. I have my mother tree in a half of a 50 gallon barrel and its about 6 ft tall and 4 ft wide. It has taken temps in the mid 20's with no problems. The tree is 10 years old and might be bigger if I had it in the ground in a warmer climate. I look forward to what others have to say, it seems that there are many synonyms for this tree, ie verte, strawberry, etc.

Little John,
Thanks for info. I have been rooting BT in newspaper and Spag. moss
in ziploc at 70 degrees(no bottom heat) and have excellent results using Dans method with added small amt. of moss in  moist rolled newspaper and large clump of moist moss at node.No mold or rot. The Verte are rootig
like crazy in above environment Good luck!

Hey Little John,

If something ends up happening with your cuttings and they don't set for you, I also have a decent sized BT tree that I really need to limb up on the north side of my house, and I could probably get about 10-12 cuttings out of it.  If you end up needing more, consider this an open invite to ask for some of mine.  I plan to prune in February.

Thanks Jason,

I just might take you up on that offer!!
