I did a quick search on webs and I didn't see anything that necessarily looked like my issue.  My Fig is finally doing well again, has nice leaf growth coming from all over the tree, but this morning there were a bunch of stringy webs all over it.  Going from leaf to leaf and even off the tree to an adjacent blue spruce.  They look kinda like cob webs...I didn't think to grab a picture this morning, I'll try tomorrow morning if they are there again.  They were much more noticeable with dew on them this morning.

Any thoughts?

How about just a plain old spider web? That sounds logical. Spider mites make small webs that stay mainly just leaf to leaf or leaf to stem.

Spider webs can span feet. Spider mite webs inches.

Spider webs vary greatly depending on the kind of spider.

It could be...it just seems to go all over the tree.  It would have been one heck of a busy spider last night and there was no structure/shape to it, just basically looked like spider man went from branch to branch leaving behind a trail of stringy webs. :)

Not much in the way of webs this morning...let's say it was spider mites.  What is the best home remedy you guys (and gals) have?

If weather permits - not too hot, not too cold - , water the tree on the leaves and stems to wash her.
You will already get significant results.

Brushing lime on the trunk (for insects to not climb ) or spraying coper-sulfur ( if really you're concern ) will help too .
