Amazing, simply amazing! how in the world did you get this beauty?
Looks like Panachee, but dark. Hmmm! THIS will go for bank on Ebay!Tell us more!Suzi
That's a beauty.. Is this a cross between Panachee and Galicia Negra..? :)You can call it Panachee Negra
Great! How does it taste?
First time bearing figs, I haven't tasted it yet. It is beautiful. And no Iits not for sale.
Love this--!!! Its beautiful-- :)
Bass - your such a tease ;) Is it outside or in a greenhouse? I find it very interesting for you to have ripening figs in PA now!!! My Mom's tree on LI has been done for a couple of weeks, just stagnant figs hanging on.
Bass, That fig is Beautiful! It's almost like it has been air brushed by an artist .
JoAnn, the tree was started from cutting this year. So the figs are later. I moved it to the greenhouse when we had the freeze, I'm anxious to see how these figs will turn out.
i'm sure martin will be very happy to find out this is more of dark fig than the Panachee :)
Man!When will this fig mania ever end? A nice fig indeed!(Now, if only one can find a black/white striped fig that looks like a "Zebra".)
Good grief that is beautiful !!
haha man - good joke, cant fool a fignut :)I think you painted a panachee with dark red! have you ever seen a fig with fruits ripening from top to bottom?
It ripens from bottom to top as in the picture.
It looks a lot like partajal rimada, any relation?
why should a fig which forms later than the one under it ripen earlier?
Chivas, good guess, it is similar but a different variety. Quinoah, I don't know what to tell you but figs do crazy things.
Now you make me want to keep guessing, Col de Dama Rimada?
Bordissot Negra Rimada.
Martinenca Rimada
That took the fun out of it, I was going through his list already.
ahh.. pretty...
