Succulent Advice Needed - South African and other

Greetings:
I have (seriously) caught the succulent bug. I have absolutely zero knowledge of succulents, other than those I used to climb/mountaineer through (and accidentally tread upon) in the Western Cape mountains of South Africa. My favourites are the crassula, and other South African species plus most others, of course.

Now I live in Tucson, Arizona and would like to learn from other succulent collectors in AZ. or similar climate zones. Also any resources, on-line or local, greatly appreciated.
ISSUE: While the climate zone around Tucson freezes now and then per winter, how do I protect my succulents? Any ideas for building a DIY greenhouse?

Thanks,

Kindest... keep blooming,

Jacques.

Welcome!  This is a forum about edible figs, which are more cold hardy than most succulents.  A heated greenhouse is a great way to protect them.  You's probably get better help in a forum dedicated to succulents, which this is not.  You also will need to know how cold hardy your particular succulents are.

Thank you - ALL for the advice that I was on the wrong forum! I only realized after I posted... fig propagation is not too closely related to succulents. My fault. I'm gone.

Jacques-

You got an e-mail.
