Sultane ( Baud's ) is one of fig varieties which is fine with my country climate.

Salam, Zaitun

That's a nice-looking fig but it looks very different (and small) from the fruit described by Condit or even Baud. Also, the proper synonym should be "Grosse de Juliet'.

Bought from Raintree last year. Mine was very good. It was not that large. Who knows it's true nature/name. On the cusp of keeper category.

Ruben and Domminic , thanks.
I dont know if its much deference with yours ,  on the baud's  label its printed as : Bellone Bifere or Noire De Julliet. Perhaps its due to a climate or the soil type between your and my country.
The main crops fruit weight is about 40 gram ( Small ) and Breba fruit weight is up to 50-60 grams . its almost similar to  Negrone fig size that I bought from Him too , but the leave shape of Sultane is much different from Negrone.

I like Sultane figs since the fruit is not cracking during the hard rain season in my country ,as well  as Tena fig.

Best regards
Zaitun

Yes syns can be many such as grosse de juliet as being a syn for Dauphine here on this site  http://www.galgoni.com/ENG/Index_EN.htm

On Baud , Raintree which there Sultane came from France,  Hungarian site http://www.tranexp.com:2000/InterTran?type=url&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.terebess.hu%2Ftiszaorveny%2Fgyumolcs%2Ffuge.html&text=Type+the+TEXT+you+wish+to+translate+here...&from=hun&to=eng&Submit=Translate  all list it syn as
Bellone Bifere or Noire De Julliet.

So there can be many from what i have seen.
