On Tuesday I will be receiving cuttings from Florida, they were cut today. They are hard wood wrapper in wet paper, in a  plastic bag, then in a cooler. I have never summer rooted before. I read the how to root, fig4fun thread.  Is there any thing I need to know and do diffident?

Whoa! When did summer get here? As long as there is no fresh growth they would be treated like dormant cuttings. I have never rooted any active growth cuttings so maybe someone else knows better.

One thing they suggest is to remove any foliage and refrigerate for 2 weeks. I have never refrigerated my cuttings. I will usually cut all but 1 or 2 leaves off and then trim those leaves in half if they are too large. I recently tried leaving one or two small fruit on them and they are rooting fine too! Keep the humidity at around 70-80%. Good luck!
