Summer Royal and Summer Muscat Seedless Grapevines

Hi! Everyone,

I am interested in buying cuttings or grapevines from these two varieties: Summer Royal Seedless grapes are black and Summer Muscat Seedless Grapes are white.  Please let me know if you have any of these two grapevines. Thank you.

Best,
Tam

Summer Muscat is the best tasting grape I've ever grown or eaten by a large margin. But it's very difficult to grow, small berries that crack even in my greenhouse in a dry climate. Summer Royal is the second best tasting, very large berries, and high yielding.

Neither is well suited to MD. Both plants and fruit will have serious disease issues.

Hi! Steve,

Thank you for your comments. There is a person by the name Fruitnut at Garden Web said these grapes taste very good but he grew his grapevines in containers in a greenhouse. He also lives in Texas. Are you Fruitnut at Garden Web? I will grow these in the containers too. Thank you. Here is the link to those grapes.

Yes, I'm fruitnut. I've moved my Summer Muscat outside. Figure it can't do any worse outside and it wasn't worth the space inside. I don't expect it to do better outside. And in case you're wondering we only get 12 inches rain a year. 0.2 inches so far this year.

I have cuttings of Summer Royal, Crimson seedless, and Princess. You got any figs to trade?

Hi! Steve,

So, you are Fruitnut at Garden Web. It is good to know you. I am sorry currently I do not have any fig cuttings for trade. Most of my fig trees were damage by the winter. Currently I have the following young grapevines:

1. Autumn Royal Seedless
2. Princess Seedless
3. Crimson Seedless
4. Freedom Seedless
5. Fresno Seedless-White
6. Neptune Seedless
7. Vanessa Seedless
8. Suffolk Seedless
9. Reliance Seedless
10. Concord

Your grapevines looked very healthy in the photos. So, only you have a problem with Summer Muscat? How is the Summer Royal now? Can you sell me the cuttings of Summer Royal and Summer Muscat? Please let me know thank you.

Best,
Tam

No cuttings of Summer Muscat, just Summer Royal. Send me a PM if that interests you.

Steve: I bought the Fresno Seedless Grapevine from the nursery near my house. Fresno Seedless is a sibling of the Flame Seedless. On the original tag from California said that Fresno Seedless is sweet white grapes in the summer. Could not find any information about this variety on the web. Do you know this variety? Thank you.

Best,

Tam
