--- Super-duper berry fig ID please

I discovered a really nice fig today! I think it is one of the best tasting figs this season for me.
There are two things that keep this fig apart.

1) it is an early fig. The Black Mission figs are just getting ripe now. On this fig tree I managed to sample the last 2 figs from the main crop, all other ones are long gone. I think it would be ideal for shorter seasons.

2) the taste is just WOW. It is very juicy and berry. The skin is thin. The neck is short.

Any pros here that would help me to ID it?

The fig color is exactly like on the photos. The size is average, not too large to water the taste down. The eye is closed. Several old figs were still on the tree, they were dry and half eaten by the birds. The leaves are interesting. They are not large like for Black Mission/Brown Turkey. Sorry, I didn't put anything for a scale, the length of the leaves is about of a dollar bill.

The tree is about 20 years old and the owner doesn't know the history. There is a greek/armenian/lebanese community in the area but I don't know if there is any connection to it in this case.

So?... What is it?

it's certainly a very pretty fig. you'll be propagating it, right?

The only fig I recall seeing that color on was the Hative D'Argenteuil, there are no leaf pictures to compare.

Looks fantastic great find!

It's certainly a nice looking fig!

Thanks, everybody!
I will try to get some cuttings and propagate the fig.
The owner is a reasonable man and I think I can smooth things out a bit with some nice beer and a chat :)

He is also curious about the name.
Any other ideas?
Although Saturday usually a slow day on the forum ...

Tami,
Thanks for a tip. I searched the forum and found a few photos with figs and leaves:

It is hard to say for 100% but quite close. If it is the HdA, I am super excited!
One because it is a super tasty fig, and two because it is a very healthy tree!

Dibs on first cuttings you have to share in a year or so LOL

The leaves do not match the UcDavis NdA i had from Ucdavis but regardless that fig looks very nice.

Thanks, Martin,

Could you post a photo of your NdA if you still have it, please?

I thought, actually, that the leaves were pretty close.

If Martin cannot do it, can anybody else post an NdA leaf photo?

Nice looking fig.  I'm looking forward to someone being able to identify it.

That looks like a gorgeous fig, great find, I hope you are able to grow yourself a nice big tree of it.

very nice looking fig. thanks for posting

Thank you all for your kind words!
The more I read about the HdA the more I think that Tami was right!
Same size, shape, and color and early ripening variety. It is hard to find the leaf photos but it seems they more or less resemble a standard fig leaf.
Lets hope it roots fast!

Here before discarding tree i remember it well had high hopes for it and tasted plenty of figs that just were not up to par .

Mostly 3 lobe leaves with a few 5 lobe leaves but different than yours .
Mine looked like the UcDavis one i saw in pictures but no wasp here to improve its flavor.
Also shown was 1 of the last figs i ate well ripened , the figs had a somewhat mealy texture when eaten.
