Surprise Cuttings in the mail from Bobby!

Wow!  I received some surprise cuttings in the mail today from Bobby.  He sent me NOLA BLK and TENA.  They look healthy and ready for rooting!

I LOVE surprises!  Bobby, you have a PM!

Wow!  That is a big fig AND tree!  NOLA Black.  Finger's crossed it will root!  Tena already has root initials, so it will be first to root probably, and thanks for sending it.  I had a couple rooted that I lost in "the mother of fungus gnat infestations," and wanted it ever since I read a woman's comment that she has a few Tena sprinkled around her orchard.  They are a very tasty and refreshing fig.  Perfect on a hot day in the orchard.  Her favorite.

Thanks again!

Looks like my Becnel Native Black, maybe.  It has the shape of The LSU Purple but not the color at the top.  There is also a "French Black" around down there as well.  Good looking fig regardless of what it is.

Bobby, I just saved your photos to a file on my computer named NOLA Black so I will remember what this fig is supposed to look like.  Now I'm wondering how you would describe it's taste.  :-)
