I'm wondering if there is one list that has all the names of figs that have other names. I tried looking in the "search" section but couldn't find anything. I'm only asking so I don't go and buy other cuttings that are listed as one name only to find out that it is the same kind of fig that I already have. I did this today and I have no one else to blame but myself for not doing my homework before buying,,,,, now I will soon have TWO not very desirable figs of the same name. ughhhhhhhhhhh.

There is no one place. Synonyms are really a mess, and some places offer things as synonyms that just can't be so. The varieties page listed above is my best attempt, but there a 100s, maybe 1000s of more references that have not yet been included.

Condit's is a bit of a help, too.
