Help,  I am lookink for information about figs from Bludan, or the Bludan fig.  Is it a particular fig or various figs from the area., what type,.....?

Bludan seems to be a village close to the Lebanon border and close to Damascus. I'm sure there are several varieties of figs in that area. Why are you looking for this fig specifically? 

I met someone who has  relatives in that area. Of course I asked about figs ,  they said   that the figs in the area  are incredible. I thought that it was  a particular fig but it seems there are various types  growing in the area, not just one variety called Bludan. Some of the  figs in your collection  might actually be growing there.
