Thanks for sharing that video. I actually have started using aluminum cans to make tags since I saw another forum member had used them to mark his trees at the Big Fig Gig. The suggestion in this video of using the picture hanging wire, is great and I will look for some next time I'm at the store. Again, thanks for sharing this. =)

This guy has got more serious about this task than anybody I've ever heard about it from before.

I bought a cheap set of metal blinds from Goodwill for 95 cents and cut into 10" pieces. Then I bought a $5 engraver and embossed the names so they'll never fade away. I stick them in the side of the pot, but it'll be better to punch a hole and wrap around the trunk.

If anyone has any old mini-blinds (aluminum) hanging around they work good too and much less work. The house we bought had 2 sets stored in the basement and they were simple to just cut the length I wanted and punch a hole in them. They were baby blue so no way they were going to be used again lol.
