Well, I do have a question. I've got a 4 year old black mission that has always been sickly and I'd like to yank it and plant something else in its place, it is in the perfect location in a small yard. Is there anything I can do to prepare and clean that dirt? And get rid of the bad vibes? I apologize if thisquestion has been asked many times, I looked at all the past pages I had time to.

When you yank it out look at roots to see if it has nematodes on roots.
They look like black beans ,round.
If not present,you can safelly plant any other cultivar in that hole,as Other disease like FM Virus,does not leave in the soil
