T.V. is starting to ripen at the worst time. It's rained the last three days and has only been in the low 70's and tomorrow we will be lucky to reach 70. The nice thing this variety seems to always be good. My wife and I gave it an 8.

It looks great - thanks for posting. Mine has a nice main crop set but are no where near ripe yet. Did yours get an early start in your greenhouse?
Steve, Yeah I gave this one an early start.
Well you torture tested it and it appears to have passed :)
Art: Very nice figs, thanks for sharing.Best,Tam
Good fig. Thanks Art for sharing
Looks good Art and tasted good too. What's not to likethanks for sharing
I really like Tacoma / Takoma Violet. It's a pretty plant and the fruits taste great - the few I've had that is.
Overhere in British Columbia, it has not performed well in terms of taste. Final season - Likely candidate for another home or trash if its taste has no significant improvements -- at least got to be on par with HC taste.
Thanks Art, I have high hopes for Takoma Violet and so much that I have two.
Nice looking fig. I might have to add one more to the fig forest.
Gina, it's Takoma with a 'k' as it was "discovered" in Takoma Park, MD not Tacoma, WA. At some point the 'c' was put in there by a few forum members and the mistake has been propagated. Thanks.
