tan leaves

Yesterday I transplanted my young Chicago Hardy plants from their plastic cups into 5 gallons buckets with bottom watering system.  The mixture is 5 parts spaghnum pete, 1 part organic compost, 1 part perlite, half part limestone granules and half part triple 12.
This morning the leaves look brown on one of the plants.  Did I kill it?

.5 parts (12-12-12 fertilizer) out of 16  is too much for any plant. I would take them out, remove soil from roots and repot with no fertilizer and less lime. Feed in a couple of weeks with liquid fertilizer.

Thanks Jake.  My wife told me the same thing.  I'll tell her that I'm taking her advice ;) wink wink, not yours.
