Yes, IMO, those numbers are extremely important... 72 deg to 78 deg F. & 85% to 90% RH are the ranges that are considered optimal for rooting fig cuttings. Your higher humidity may be of a little concern, possibly that the moss may be too wet or the Hygrometer may be reading high. If you can maintain those Temperatures and humidity at the fig cuttings, with good air circulation, they will root without Sphagnum Moss or Paper.
Once they are rooted and transferred to cups a high humidity is really only needed to keep the mix from drying out too quickly. A lower humidity range (65% to 80%) is needed to keep leaves from drying out if there are not enough roots to keep them hydrated, above that humidity range the leaves may start to rot.
