I have a friend in West Texas that is sending me cuttings today. Anyone have an idea what these could be? Sorry no leaf pics. It's a large bush maybe 12' x 12'. I was thinking Texas Blue Giant, but I don't know. I just hope they're not ... B...T's.

If they are that productive they are worth a try, IMHO .
Not easy to tell, without the leaves and a pic of the mother tree ...
Those cuttings don't resemble the stems of my brownturkey - My young wood stays green for a year before turning grey - I know because I checked the tree 4 hours ago.
