How are you gonna start your Cuttings? I work at a hydro shop and have access to coco coir , i just might give it a try

I've just started using coir. First of all, I'm a relative newbie at rooting with maybe 40-50% success so far.  I've been using perlite and moss mix at 70/30%.  Some of my lack of success is due to mold and a little bit of rot.  Some of the "lack of success" is possible due to time.  The cambium layer is still green.  Otherwise, little to no signs of life.  Some I thought would not take are now starting to put out buds.  So maybe my success rate is a bit higher.. I can always hope :)

I think coir is worth a try.  Especially if you work in a hydro shop.. where you can get it cheap.  Lucky guy.  Actually, it's relatively inexpensive as it is for how much you get from a small bale.  Good luck.

Ill let u know how it turns out

SR_Bill, I am  a newbie also but I have been told that if the cutting still has green it may be okay.

Yep, that's why I'm holding on.  Some are more difficult to root than others.

I have a ez cloner, saw a video of a guy rooting in water, i can have my misters put on a timer for every 15 min, need more cuttings to experiment,

Thank you TahomaGuy2. Got my cuttings yesterday when it was 60F  before today's snow!!
Setting up today to remind me spring is around the corner.

Ok buddy so you tell me which one this is LDA or Black Mission?
