Thanks Rafed and Doug!

I haven't posted much here the last few months, mostly because work and school, but also because of the antics of some members.  Sadly, the playground drama drove away some kind, knowledgeable, and very generous members.

Several former members in particular I would like to send an unabashed "Thank You!" Rafed and Doug (SCFigFanatic) are just two of those individuals.  They both offered to send me "a couple" of cuttings last year when I was first starting out; never had to ask for anything at all.  Rafed's fervor and passion for figs is just so palpable, and Doug is the epitome of "Southern Hospitality." Over the past year, both of them have sent me awesome cuttings, some rare and expensive varieties, and I've never had to ask at all!  Then yesterday a package came in (priority mail, of course), and...well, let me just say, I'm still going through the inventory.  Here's a sample: CDDN, Maltese Beauty, NDC, Noire de Barbentane, Genovese Nero, Blanche Alsace, just to name a few.

F4F lost some really good guys, and sometimes when I read through some of the postings, I really can't blame them.  Life's too short to be spending time with people who suck the happiness out of you.

That was a nice Thanksgiving gift!
Good luck with them!

Wow what a nice Thanksgiving surprise.  Good luck with all your cutting.

I got a very nice Thanksgiving gift as well, a package of cuttings from a local forum member containing a dozen or so varieties that have been successful up here in the north-country.  Thank you, Greg!   'Tis the season....

Well those will certainly be keeping you busy for quite some time. Very nice gift. Congrats.

Wow, very nice gift!  Congrats and good luck rooting all of them!

Nate,
You joined the forum and started spreading aloha immediately -- so what goes around comes around.
Cheers,
Jim
