good lord!  How does it taste? Doesn't look juicy at all, in that picture.

My biggest figs turned out to be Vasilika Sika breba figs. They were just as delicious as the main crop, those being just slightly smaller and elongated than the brebas pictured here:

Wow, I can't get over how big some figs can grow!

That's the first fig I've seen that I am NOT eager to try. Maybe I shouldn't judge a book by it's cover...
Being of Greek parentage though, the Vasilika is one I very much want. Unfortunately, I will probably never try one unless I go to Greece. The hunt continues for the Holy Grail for me.

It is orphan....

Black Greek brebas have been my biggest figs so far.  The one below was 109 grams:

[SAM_4137]   

[SAM_4147] 

They were pleasant, but too watery.
