The fig: Its history, culture, and curing, with a descriptive catalogue of the known varieties of figs (1901)

I was surfing for fig info (don't remember what for!) but I came across this digitized google book. It seems to have a lot of information, almost like an old 'Fig Encyclopedia". There are a lot of spelling issues probably due to digitizing and the illustrations have not been digitized; however, all in all, I found it useful and thought that some others may find it useful too. It covers many topics such as propagation, pinching, oiling, covering. I thought some others may find the info useful.
I apologize if I am providing repeat reference to something already pointed out in this Forum.

Yes, I had the gut-feelings that such a good work might have been referred to somewhere and so it was.

I have this book, great book.

There are quite a few good books now online, linked at Figs 4 Fun. Goggle books and other sources have digitized a lot of things heretofore nearly impossible to find.

Does anyone have a clean PDF of this book?
Pls let me know, maybe you can attach it and email it to me...
thanks!
Nas

When you say "clean PDF", what do you mean?  One that has OCR text recognition done on it, so that the text is selectable/copy-paste possible?

I mean just a regular pdf of it...thanks

Click on the link #676 and at the top of the page there is an option to download as a text file, a PDf, etc.
