Well, in addition to my existing trees I've managed to scrounge up a couple more:
Conadria - loaded with small figs but only one little set 'o leaves. I took off the figs in the hope that this will encourage branching and more leaf production.
Nero - Is this the same as Genovese Nero? This one has no side branches at all but is about 5' tall. Im thinking about doing an air-layer on the top to start another tree and hopefully this will encourage branching lower down on the trunk. Info said these have somewhat of an open eye, so dont know how well it'll do here in the humid South.
LSU Scott's Black - a very handsome little tree. Going to pot this up in some terra cotta for the patio. The other two will be put into pots in the ground (to keep the roots cool)...
I know, I know. Very common varieties...but Im still excited! Hopefully Ill get some fruit off the Nero and Conadria next year
