The Pizarro fig was planted in 1530's in Peru and still grows in the governors palace in Lima. I wish I could get my hands on this fig tree for cuttings. I would love to see how the taste is after all years!!
Sounds interesting but they really need to change the name of that fig. Pizarro was a terrible person.
