The secret to deleting messages

Ok I have decided to let the secret out. When ready to delete selected messages, put mouse arrow outside of the Select an action block, right click your mouse. A box will appear, ignore what is in the box. Now the Select an action box will not jump around and you can do as you wish.

Great trick, Jake.  I had to read your instructions to understand what you meant (that's just my fault), but it works well.

Can Dennis right-click on an iPad?

Can Dennis right-click on an iPad?

Good question. I guess I should have stated I was using IE.

That does not work for me. It still keeps jumping around. I just wait for the very few times it will work, then delete as many messages as I want. About 2 weeks ago, 'it allowed' me to use the delete function.

Hard to believe something so obvious is still not functioning after all these months.

secret is to disable your PM so you don't have to delete them :)

From the other thread about deleting PMs. This, from eboone, is the first thing that's ever worked easily for me:

get your mouse pointer over the window, the dropdown box opens. Instead of moving the mouse pointer down to your selection(which works anywhere else in the computer world), use the down arrow on your keyboard to highlight your selection (likely Delete or Move to Saved) and hit enter.

Will a (virtual) bazooka gun do the trick?

I like the challenge. It gives me a sense of achievement when i finally am able to delete it. It is the dead of winter, and I find it amusing...so sad. Come on spring!
