Or it could just be any of the other half a dozen common viruses that produce FMV-like symptoms....  FMV isn't the only one, and there isn't a lot of discussion about how the others are transferred.

i have an interesting "cocktail" with my trees.  Only some are affected, too.  It's interesting.

I'm going mix asprin, silicates and superthrive into the water, again. Seems the symptoms don't show on strong healthy plants.

I find that trees in pot culture seem to show symptoms worse than those that aren't, and maybe that's why I see it more.  I dunno.  I definitely have a viral 'cocktail' in my trees, though.  It sucks, but they're still producing awesome fruit, just with malformed leaves on about 1/3 of them.  No biggie?  I think it's inevitable, but respect those who think they can have a virus-free orchard.

I've given up on a virus free orchard. Only my mission tree from home depot got it so bad, it affected fruiting, but it couldve been due to my neglect.

Sorry to read about the virus-jumping to other clean trees...and, sorrier to learn that there are more virus "cocktails" that can also affect our trees, and not in a good way.  Yech!

Has anyone ever tried a product called "Serenade"?  It's some kind of product that "makes" a plant produce tis own disease controls.  A lousy description...sorry...but it cures/strengthens a plant without toxins....I think.

Or, is the product I thinking about called "Messenger"?  EDIT:  "EMPLOY" has now replaced "Messenger".  This is some kind of bio-stimulant that triggers a plant's natural defense system to fight off diseases, etc.
