Sure lived up to it name today. Weather man said 20 to 30mph today windy.
Fine but when wind gust according to news later were 40mph plus and 1 plant knocked over i move the other small containers up against shed.
Right now we getting taste of cooler weather its 63 out as i type. Fig taste good to me when picked this cool .
Tomorrow high 69.

Growing in containers gives me this option to move out of harms way, growing inground i would not have to worry so much about wind or i would just stake the little ones if needed until roots take good hold.
Right now we getting taste of cooler weather its 63 out .

Other day wind gust hit 60 mph , come winter the wind can be bone chilling in short order, just glad i dont have to be in train yard working anymore.

Had enjoyed breakfast of figs this morning some Violet de Bordeaux, Dark Portuguese, Negretta and had afternoon lunch snack of Santa Cruz Dark.
Some of my trees are done with figs and others not.
All in all still eating lots of figs.   ; )
