Hey guys,

I have Brown Turkey Fig (I think) and it did very well this year. From what I heard (I was in China all summer) the tree put out plenty of fruit. I managed to taste a few when I got back in late August and they were pretty good.

So, I am just trying to get an idea of another type of fig to grow for next summer. What would you guys recommend? I am looking for something that is a very good pick-and-eat fig and I am sure some of you guys know a lot more than me. Thanks.

Edit: I was looking at this website: http://www.treesofjoy.com/myfigs.htm and I am pretty interested in the Naples White and the Lebanese Red. What do you guys think?

Take your time to select. Don't just go by the colour-etc in a picture since some of these characteristics change with the climate and so is the performance. Having said that, you should start with Hardy Chicago, Sal (EL) and Marseilles VS Black and then just keep on adding more while these three keep you busy eating figs.
