This could get interesting...

Don't know if this is an FMV aberration, or the start of a sport that will lead to one of the most interesting fig leaves ever seen. Kind of hoping for the later.

This is a newly rooted cutting of B Mad 008. Guess I'll have to set this one aside.

Just a bad case of FMV. Had a Violette Normande that was heavily infected with the virus, some of its leaves looked alike your plant.

Navid.

I've got a new VdB that looks similar. Hopefully, it will grow out of it.

I've got a Salem White that did something similar, then it lost all its leaves.  It was about a year old. The tree is still alive, and making new leaves now.  I think it's some cocktail of FMV viruses that caused it.  Don't know if that's what's going on with yours or not.  Will be interesting to see what it does though!

It does look interesting.  I hope it is a new mutation.  Let us know.

more than likely FMV. if there is chance that will become something else, i'm keeping all my Calverts. each Calvert has at least 5 different leaves going weird.

I have a DK and Paradiso that made some crazy leaves too.  Yours looks pretty though.

Just one of the signs of FMV showing with badly misshapen leaf.
Seen it before in my Macool plant which died in dormancy.

I've got a 2 year old VDB / Negronne EL with visible FMD that has 6 total branches. Two (2) of the 6 have extremely deformed leaves and visible mosaic in every leaf on those branches, but nothing as ornate as yours.

I have seen a lot of different FMV affects, but this is a new one, if that is what it is.

The  second picture looks kind of like an ice crystal leaf.

Do you think skinny leaves would make for skinny figs.

goss

Yes, low-cal figs.

here is one i saw on one of the Calvert last yr.. i thought it was rather interesting.
