I hear ya Martin. Saw your pics it's so depressing.
The flip side is you guys know it is still winter and are not temped to start doing things you will need to undo in a couple of days.
Martin and Pino This only makes growing figs more exciting for us. We appreciate good weather even more and growing figs is more challenging
Makes me realize how fortunate we are over here. 20C yesterday, and forecast is similar temps over next 10 days. Now which of my American cousins poked fun at my country 3 years ago for our lack of warmth/sunshine?
Jean Talon Market!
Spring is almost here! Kahlil Gibran says one cannot taste the fullness of the cup without first tasting the bitterness of an empty one.
I wore a tee shirt today.
This is about the time I start to fret over my garaged trees. Do I water? Will that bring them of dormancy? Will they dehydrate? Ugh! It's always too long for us here in Denver. We had snow in June last year.
I put the the few trees that I have in Denver out last week. They leafed out in the basement.
It was 67 here yesterday, the feels like now is near zero. I've been counting the days until spring since the first week of january.
@ James -I wore a T shirt too.........it was under a winter jacket :( 50F was the high at 1am. I'll be freezing my figs off Thursday morning. It will be all the way up to 5F. At least it's spring somewhere on this planet.
And we can't forget the 40 mph winds. The dogs won't even go outside. They're tired of the cold too!
