This Squrill got its just reward

Last week it was the telephone cables, today, for the umpteen time just as I was about to pit the coffee on for breakfast:

Squirrel blamed for mass outage

A squirrel wandered a bit too far Thursday morning, and more than half of the town lost power as a result. CL&P spokesman Mitch Gross said the squirrel, which was zapped by tens of thousands of volts of electricity and died instantly, caused a piece of equipment in the company's Cos Cob substation to malfunction.

The result left more than 15,000 of the town's 27,910 customers in the dark for more than an hour Thursday as crews worked to restore service. The number of those without power decreased to about 7,000 by 9:40 a.m. and hit zero around 1:30 p.m. after peaking at about 9 a.m.

Gross said the incident happened just after 8 a.m., immediately causing almost 2,000 outages. The outages continued to rise for the next hour before declining, Gross said.

At 10 a.m., Gross said the outages would persist for several more hours before they were fully eliminated.

I say to the squirrel: Good riddance, Don't let the door swing you on the tail on your way out!

I went out of my way to avoid running over a squirrel today..............Because it was flattened already and i didn't want to get any on my tires.

Hope it was a female. Meaning several dozen less off-springs through out its' natural life.

Imagine two thirds of those off-springs were females too and they had several dozen off-springs of their own.

Now you do the math.

Don't get me wrong, they have a right to live. But not off my yard.

Trespass and,,,,,,,,,POW!

Not t be taken serious, just having fun
