Very pretty/Beautiful fig Dave
Thanks for posting Pix

Dave,

Thanks for posting this very beautiful fig tree.
Hope you can get it to ripen where you are at, you will appreciate it much more.
Great tasting fig.

Rafed I know that you posted the same thing how are yours doing? Is this the first year for your tiger stripe figs or did you have them last year?

Oh! Keep us updated. I'm in CT, too, and I was wondering how the Tiger would do here. I've been completing avoiding it due to the long growing season.

Dave,

Mine is doing great.
I got the tree last year but as you've already seen it is producing already.
Not puttings up my hopes on it but if by some miracle it ripens any then it will be a blessing.

I have tasted when I last visited Jon and it was great! It is a fig for every fig grower. No matter where you live.

maketa,

You only live once my friend. You can get one at a fair price just about anywhere.

Rafed - excellent point. I will add it to my list. :-)

It's going on my list!  It is a beauty!

Good luck, Dave. I had a 5 year old panachee and couldn't get them ripe.  I think you need a greenhouse or start fig shuffling early. It is a very. Beautiful tree though.

maketa I got mine this year at Gamin's Nursery off I95 in Fairfield his nursery is right across from the Home Depot off the thruway I couldn't believe my eyes when I went there a 6 ft high Tiger Stripe Panachee Fig tree for $60.00 what a deal I like to check with him once and while he gets different fig trees

Dave,

That's about how much you would have paid for a 2ft'er if not more if you ordered it online.

Wow! I'll have to stop by one weekend. That's a great deal. The only place I've seen here that sells figs locally wanted $60 for a 2 foot black jack.

Here's a photo of the whole tree It came in a smaller pot but thats what I got for $60.00

Dave they should ripen with "decent weather" by there size  sometime in September
Keep in full sun and post pictures when they do .  ; )
