Time to repot?

If you've left this where it was for one season, it would have grown into a monster tree. 

I had that problem the one time with a tree that rooted into the ground. I left it for a full summer season inside and it grew into a monster and produced a huge crop of figs. I ended up cuttings it down by sawing it after being in ground in my greenhouse for 2 seasons.

This was on a fiberglass shelf, just growing under the neighboring pots. Interesting that the 6" or so above the soil had no relationship to the 6' of roots below the soil.
