Tiny harvest

I thought my in-ground Tena would be the first of my young trees to ripen fruit this year, but I took a closer look at the tiny figs I thought were drying up on my VdB and realized two of them were actually ripe! Even more surprising, they tasted pretty good, so I can only assume they'll be that much better once the tree gets old enough to produce fruit of a decent size.

I also noticed a ripe fig on a potted Ischia Green, and it was tasty as well. A potted Tena looks like it's a day ahead of the in-ground; I'll try it tomorrow. Fun!

That has to be the smallest VDB fruit I haver ever seen!! You can bet that the flavour gets better and the figs a bit larger.
