to folks waiting on me-mgginva

Sorry to deliver this on here rather then individually by email but I seem to be overwhelmed. I was hurt much worse then I thought in the car accident and am trying very hard to just feed my pets and water my figs. So please have patience - I will get everything done and ship out everything I've promised.
Thank you,
MGG

Hope your healing is complete and swift!!

We did not have any deals going on. Even if we did, your health has to come first. Take care of yourself.

Get better quickly.  It always gets worse 2 days later.  Physical therapy helps a lot.

Karma

Praying for you.

Hope you get better soon.

Celt, that was a lousy thing to post. I don't know or care what you guys have going on personally, but to say someone being injured in a car accident is karma seems a bit harsh. It's this behavior that most here found intolerable the first time you and the others left.

What happened?

Agreed, just ban this guy from forums. This attitude is not needed here.

Get well OP...

Michael

Sorry to hear you are not feel well. You have many friends here that care about you.
Get well soon.

@MGG:
Sorry to hear about your (persistent?) ailment.

Approx. 1 year ago; you mentioned something similar to me.
Was it the same mishap?

I wish you 'all' well.

P.S. You owe me nothing...

Hang tough, Michael.

Thanks to all of you except of course our immature and tacky little "friend" the_celt who as usual has some negative destructive input when not trying to fool folks into ripping them off or back stabbing what friends he has left.

Thanks John, btw.

To all of you who have posted positive things I really appreciate the positive energy.

I managed to walk to my mailbox today so I think things are going well.

My beloved old car will survive but getting parts will be an issue. It's almost funny that I'd just gotten the darn thing inspected and it was completely legal for the first time in several years (parts are scarce). She's bent up a bit and will never be able to go "real fast" again, but I think I can get her back to road worthy for decently long trips.

George - this was a brand wreck - new hit and run - A new Lincoln Navigator - grey with New Jersey plates -- just didn't see me - I guess - and cut right in front of me at high speed and the only choice I had was a collision at 85mph or a trip into the median. I was incredibly lucky that Virginia takes good care of the medians and it was flat at that spot with lots of soft damp grass and my brakes were almost brand new and worked very well. I was also lucky I had my seat belt on. Although I ended up with more severe injuries then I thought I was still just downright lucky in this case.

If any of you are familiar with rt 81 it is loaded with trucks and usually very congested on fridays and the traffic can move quickly. To have an accident in those conditions and not end up more seriously injured then I was means someone was watching out for me as 50 feet before there was a 15 foot drop off and a guardrail and 50 further up I would have hit trees.

Anyway, thanks to all of you who who had positive thoughts and wishes.

Geez Neil - I could sure use your doc skills here in Va. Time to leave Reno, don't ya think?

Michael I'm so sorry to hear about the accident.  I'm glad you were being watched over and I pray you are well soon.

Ignore the bad and enjoy the good.

goss

Hoping and praying you feel better soon.

Lulu

Get well soon, glad you're doing better already.

Hope you are feeling better soon. You've certainly had more than your share of bad luck this past year.

Michael, I still remember back when I lived not too far from your current home four decades ago the gnats flying into my ears. I would jam a finger in there to get them and them come out with nothing but wax - no more buzzing, but gnat guts almost certainly coated my outer ear canals through the summer months. I doubt I'd like that any better today than I did in 1974 and '75. What I'm saying, bud, is that you're on your own unless you want to catch a plane out here to the high desert and kick around my office for a few weeks while we try to put humpty dumpty back together.

Bring the repaired Jag out and we'll tool around on all of the practically deserted highways in these here parts. We're close to California though, where they often drive in a fashion similar to your Navigator pal.

I am sorry to hear about the accident, I am praying for you and for a speedy recovery

thx everyone. just finished a 2 day sleep-a-thon. Was great. I hope to get back in the office Monday.

Gina -- you are so right. Been tough.

Neil -- the gnats are hilarious here because if you know the right note you can make them dance. Plus I love to watch the hummers pick them out of the swarm like a kid eating candy corn on Halloween night.

Michael,

I want Candy Corn.  Can't get them out of my mind now.

Same here Rafed. I just went through my kitchen drawers and all I got were 2 fortune cookies. I have some green tea ice cream but it's just not the same. Maybe under the couch cushions?

Michael,  your experience sounds awful.  I hope the person in the Navigator didn't leave the scene.  You were probably in their blind spot...or they were texting.  Best of luck for a speedy recovery.

Steve

Michael, so sorry to hear of your accident!  Prayers to you for a speedy recovery.
