Nice harvest, Brian. When you've eaten all you can, take a deep breath and eat one more for me.
How old are your trees?

There were very delicious .........most trees are very young,2-3 years old,but all inground ,with just a little care they grow very fast

Nice!! I'm anxiously awaiting these varieties to produce for me.

That's a lot of LSU!

How would you compare the taste of the LSU Gold to the LSU Champagne?

They both have that figgy celestial taste but taste different, the Champagne has a more concentrated richer taste and the Gold very good also ,but smoother tasting ........

Looking good Brian. How are your Tigers holding up with the rain we've had in the last couple of days. Mine are starting to split and sour. I picked some not quite ripe yesterday evening to can as preserves. To can them they don't need to be fully ripe, in fact they are better at least a day or two before being fully ripe. That way they have the flavor but don't fall apart when canned.

Thanks Gene,my Tigers are doing great, they are my favorite.....I've noticed that also about the Tiger, that they are just as good one or two days before they are fully ripened.........buts its been very dry here for a while, perfect fig weather .....lol

Brian here it been very dry also and then all of a sudden it ended. We had 3 1/4" Thursday and 1" on Friday. It also came very close yesterday and today but we lucked out. I need at least a week of dry weather now.
