Unknown Afghanistan has been a very tasty fig for me. A couple of things went wrong this summer for it. First figs to ripen had to much rain and then I found it was so root bound that the moisture was not doing much good and the leaves have yellowed and started falling off. I will remedy it by putting this guy in ground next spring. I like this fig. Enjoy.
nice!
What!? No inside photos? You tease!
One for the ground, hopefully next year will be better, I am tired of the daily rain. Then, I feel guilty when I see all the flooding and drought areas around the country.
I might be wrong but they very much look like the Kadota I bought few days ago from SuperKing's Market. How's the inside?
Aaron, you are definitely wrong on this one. I have eaten Kadota figs and they are nothing like this one.Inside
