Toni's Brown Italian aka TBI

Good day, a few months ago, I obtained a fig called Toni's Brown Italian, TBI.  Two weeks ago, I was out picking figs from my orchard and I noticed this medium size round fig.  It had ridges around the side just like Latturulla.  I looked at the label and reallzed it was my TBI.  My trees are small.  They are 2 year old and about 24 inches tall.  I have 2 of them.  One had a large fig that was brown and soft. so I picked it.  Late that morning, I took out the figs I wanted to taste and gave the others away to friends and neighbors.  When I tasted TBI, man it was amazing!  I had to hold on to my chair as I ate the second half!  That dude was good!  it was my sweetest brown fig this year!  My sweetest green fig this year ( and the year just started) is Emerald Strawberry.   I did not take any pictures that day but I will for the next crop.  If you don't have one, then by all means GET ONE!!!!!

Does anyone else have this fig?  If so, could you post some pics until my trees produce its second crop?

Hello Dennis, Can you tell me where to find one, or who to check with. If you don't want to post for whatever reason, please send me PM. Thanks.

Dennis, are you saying the first two figs on your TBI were breba?

Contact Dalton of Durio Nursery this Fall.  I think he's out of them for the summer but may have some this Fall.

Bob, I think this was a breba.  I got my 2 trees in a self watering pots with UPM.  My trees seem to grow much faster in a SWP including my 2 Black Ischias from UCD.
