Tony's Brown Italian and other figs

Good day, as the seasons begin to slowly change here in Charlotte, STILL a few figs are ripening. It's been cloudy and muggy and now daily rain showers. Jackie and I have been enjoying a lot of ripe figs!

Unknown Spain White       -----large bell shape---red center

Marseilles Black      ----Excellient and large this year
Hardy Chicago      -----Excellent and large this year
Marva Silka                ----Very sweet and prolific

Improved Brown Turkey
Black Jack
Texas Blue Giant
Italian White SX    ---Surprise bell shaped yellow fig red center
Zemblas Black

LaGoccia d'Oro
Red Isreal      --looks like Texas Blue Giant but darker and sweeter!

So, with all these figs, what did I do with them? I made my famous Fig Chutney! Here are a few pictures
