I've been making my own 'tube' pots by rolling up used greenhouse plastic to desired circumference, cauterizing the edge, and cutting lengths to desired depth.   Bottom is folded shut.

Thanks Z5F

I saw that web site, but wondered if anyone has experience with them or someone else. I've got nuts and other things to try this year.

Just as an FYI the pawpaws and persimmon tree I recieved in those pots this year would tip over in a mild breeze. I had to put tree pots in a bigger pot with a brick to keep them upright. Those pots need a rack or something to hold them up

Not exactly the same pots.  I have had good experience with them.

I put in an order with Steuwe. I got a few trays to go along with the pots. I'll let you know how I make out.

Thanks

I should say I requested a quote a few days ago.   The shipping was a little steep, but they are shipping from across the country so that's not cheap.

I have to say.   I was on the phone with customer service and she was awesome.  I had to call back and change my order and she was even friendlier the second time.

So far, I highly recommend them.   Mainly I want rooting tubes so that I can ship rooted cuttings in tubes later in the spring.  I also have some pecan seeds I want to try to germinate as well as some leftover Paw Paw seeds.   They will be stood up pot to pot in a plastic storage tote and rooted in that fashion.

Thanks
and Take care everyone.
