Is anyone growing this variety? If so, can you post some photos of the fig and the leaf? Can you please share your opinion about this fig?
Hey Leon,Here's a picture from a couple years ago. I got rid of my tree. It produced lots of figs, but didn't make the cut. It was good for dehydrating.

Here's another one. Atreano BC on left, Troiano Calabrese in the middle, Unk. Mittica on Right.Similar types. TC lost out.
Hey ART, Send me an e-mail.Phil
Hi Art:I appreciate your photos and opinion on this fig.I have two nicely rooted cuttings that someone gifted. I have not seen any raves about this fig yet other sources have said that it is a must have variety.Another source mentioned that Herman thought that it was the same as Atreano. The leaves do not match Atreano at this point so I don't think that observation is accurate.
Not anything exciting. Kinda sugary similar to LSU Purple
Bump. Any other comments regarding this fig? If it is not a very good fig, I will have to discard it from my collection to make room for something else. Your opinions are welcomed. Thank you.
Sounds like a nice size fig and prolific producer, Great for someone selling fresh figs to market or feeding their livestock like in the old days..lol
I dumped mine just recently. Too many better honey type figs
Thanks Brian. You helped me decide on this one.
