two figs per node

Today I saw one tree is producing 2 figs in many nodes.
If a fig tree does not grow that fast when mature (so less pruning), instead put all her energy to produce more figs. I believe that's most people's dream...

What kind of tree is that?  it will be interesting to see if it produces a breba crop at that node next year.

Yes i have seen this on a few tree's here in yard in past seasons, dont think any this season though.
Big bang for the buck as they say !

My Peter's Honey is 3 years old, and started doing that this year.
It'd be really nice if all my figs trees started doubling up on a regular basis.

My Peter's Honey is doing this as well, at most nodes. My Atreano looks to be doing it as well, but all will have to be removed as they are forming too late.

My Peter's Honey (same as Lattarula?) is doing that too.  But in some instances it's 2 figs sharing 1 stem, rather than separate stems as in your photos.  Based on the responses above, it sounds like maybe this is a common characteristic with Peter's Honey.  (maybe?).

Would be interesting to keep notes on the limb that develops from that specific union.
