so... finally KB in its almost full glory.. lol

it was good. it was getting really "tight". swelling and soaking up the water. it was between taking it now to taste it or let it blow up. i took it. it could have used few more days, definitely. 

the taste. i would say it was like Paradiso Gene in some way. it wasn't VdB. it was that comfortable honey sort of sweetness.. very good. i can imagine what properly ripen KB would taste like. i know i'll love this fig. 

VdB was.. as you can see exploded. it was bland. it's first VdB that i had that was bland. i'm surprised that VdB can be bland, but this one was. 

two on the left is KB, one that blew up is VdB.
