Hi All,
@Michal, it was my pleasure. We had a lot of fun, thx for your visit.
but I have to correct you - hearing myself talking in English, I would describe me as let´s say a natural born poor funeral orator:)
@Martin, Italian unknown and large unknown are doing well, looking forward to id them, thx.
@Herman2, you are right with the temperatures, very cold, we had -20C in some years, this past winter about -18C.
my marseilles vs black which is growing unprotected outside of Vienna, had nearly no winter damage this last very strong winter.
I can attest the same winter hardiness to the varieties dalmatie, ronde de bordeaux, and pastilliere, beside the record holder EBT laradek.
their winter hardiness is mentioned in the book "le figue pas a pas" from pierre baud.
as well nordland-bergfeige turned out to be very hardy.
@Hi Paul, how are the salmons:)
@Jose, the 3 winters before the last one, have been exceptional warm.
so the last winter was the best test someone can imagine.
the above mentioned varieties where unprotected.
your cuttings are doing well, only yellow neches failed, thx again.
