Two of my plants that were at a standstill (pic)

Not long ago I made a post about my plants at a standstill (no growth)That was then, this is now!

The tallest one is my Guilbeau, it is growing like Jack's beanstalk, the other guy is my one and only Hardy Chicago.

{Edit} here is my little VdB with little figs already turning color

Very nice Cecil. Did you do anything special to jump start? I have a VDB that is stalled I'm feeding MG once a week but it is slow going to say the least. From what I noticed with my other varieties is, once they get going there ain't no stopping them, you can see the growth on a daily basis it seems.

Great job

Thanks Sal,

You asked "Did you do anything special to jump start?"

No, nothing other than the usual, Fert. about every other watering.

~James down near Houston told me in a private email that they would start growing again in Sept. as usual, he nailed it!

My VdB is coming on like gangbusters now, it too has figs on it, but has put them on later than the SC

I'll bet what James said would apply to your plants too.

Cecil I have my fingers and toes crossed hoping you are right. The VDB is one I really wanted I like Martin prefer dark figs I think they are more eye appealing. I must say I tasted One of my white unknown weeks ago from mother tree and it was better than good. I wonder in a true blind taste test our fig experts would be able to distinguish color. Has anyone really tried? Just curious!!
I guess you would have to do it with varieties you haven't tried before.
OK I lied I want them all tall, short, dark, light and anything in between as long as they taste good of course. I'm talking about figs now I know how you think I think LOL

You are a mind reader ta boot
